How do I install a new map on my GMod server?
If your server crashes at startup or shows "No such map", the Map variable on the Startup page must exactly match an installed map file, with no file extension. Check what is actually installed by looking in garrysmod/maps/ via File Manager. As a quick fallback to get back online, gm_construct ships with every GMod install.
To install a map from the Workshop: add it to your Workshop collection (or note its Workshop ID), make sure your Workshop Collection ID is set on the Startup page, and restart. The map downloads along with the rest of your collection.
To install a map manually: upload the .bsp file via File Manager to garrysmod/maps/, set the Map variable to the filename without the .bsp extension, and restart.
