How do I change my GMod server name and set a password?
Both are set in garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg, editable via File Manager.
Set hostname "My Server Name" to change what shows in the server browser. Set sv_password "yourpassword" to require a password to join, or leave it as sv_password "" for no password.
Two related settings worth knowing: sv_tags sets searchable tags for the server browser, and gamedesc sets the short description shown alongside your server.
The port itself is not set in server.cfg; it is managed from the Network page in the panel.
