How do I update or remove an addon?
Workshop addons update themselves. Your server checks for and downloads the latest version of each subscribed addon on restart; watch the console for "Downloading Workshop item..." lines during startup if you want to confirm it happened.
Manually-installed addons (from GitHub or a ZIP) do not auto-update. Download the new version, delete the old addon folder via File Manager, upload the new one, and restart.
To remove a Workshop addon: go to the Workshop page, remove it from your collection, save, and restart. To remove a manually-installed addon: delete its folder via File Manager and restart.
Some addons leave data behind in garrysmod/data/ even after removal (saved settings, logs, and similar). That is usually harmless to leave in place, but you can clean it up manually if you want a completely fresh state.
